The Singapore High Commission in Canberra will be closed from Saturday, 24 December 2022 to Monday, 2 January 2023 for the Christmas and New Year holidays. We will resume operations on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.
Applications for the following should reach the High Commission by these cut-off dates:
By Friday, 16 December 2022
- Application for Singapore Passport
- Renunciation of Singapore Citizenship or Singapore Permanent Residency
By Thursday, 22 December 2022
- Collection of New Passport by post
- Collection of Citizenship Certificate by post
Applications received after the cut-off dates will be processed after 2 January 2023.
Notarial services and collection of new passport in person will be available until Friday, 23 December 2022. Appointments are required and walk-ins will not be allowed. Please book your appointment via this online form.
During the period of closure, Singaporeans who require emergency consular assistance can contact the Duty Officer at +61 414 733 944 or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Duty Office at +65 6379 8000. Please note that these emergency numbers are not for general enquiries.
